Dave Flynn's Irish Memory Orchestra is the only orchestra in the western world to perform exclusively from memory. Máirtín O'Connor joins the orchestra for an evening of exhilarating music conducted by Bjorn Bantock.
Repertoire includes a suite of O'Connor tunes orchestrated by Flynn and stunning vocals by Corkonians Róisín Donohoe and Niamh Varian-Barry. Flynn's much-loved Clare Concerto brings audiences on an exciting and moving journey around the landmarks and musicians of Clare.
The outstanding 20 piece ensemble includes Jack Talty, Anne-Marie O'Farrell, Mark Redmond, Maria O'Connor and Niwel Tsumbu. Together they have brought audiences to their feet from London to Moscow, Clare to Korea. Tickets for their Cork City debut at Cork School of Music are on sale now.
