Junge Sinfonie Köln will perform a special concert in aid of Cope Foundation on Wednesday 17th October 2018 in the Concert Hall, Cork City Hall.
The visit from the Cologne group is to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Cork-Cologne Twinning and the concert is being organised in association with Cork City Council.Cope Foundation are delighted to be joined by their friends at Mater Private Hospital Cork who are the main event sponsors.
On the night Junge Sinfonie Köln will perform 4 pieces with 3 different conductors:
• Georges Bizet : Carmen Suites 1 and 2: Conductor: Kai Schuster
• L. van Beethoven: Piano Concert No. 3: Conductor: Ulrich Gögel
• Antonin Dvorak: Symphony No. 7, d-minor: Conductor: Sebastian Hässy
• Günter Hässy: Galleon Overture: Conductor: Sebastian Hässy
