100 new research posts as Minister Humphreys visits Tyndall Disruptive Innovation Projects

The Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys has today announced up to 100 new research positions at the Cork-based Tyndall Institute.

Minister Humphreys announced the jobs at a visit to the Tyndall Institute this afternoon, during which she toured the facilities and reviewed some of the DTIF projects worth €20 million.

Tyndall was recently awarded funding for four multi-million euro projects as part of the Government's new 500 million euro Disruptive Technology Innovation Fund.

The positions are expected to be filled in the coming year.
