17 Scott Medals For Bravery Handed Out At Templemore Today
17 Scott medals are being awarded for bravery at the Garda college in Templemore this afternoon.
211 gardai graduated from the first phase of their training this morning, and will now move into Garda stations.
Among the recipients of a Scott medal is Sergeant Deborah Marsh who’s based in Templemore Garda College.
She recalls the events of January 30th 2012 when she and a colleague stopped an intoxicated van driver;
