A legal action against Google over claims it collected sensitive data from iPhone users has been blocked by the High Court.

The claimants said the tech giant had illegally accessed the details of people's web browsing history. 

It's alleged it bypassed privacy settings on the Safari internet browser between June 2011 and February 2012.
