A Sentence Is Due To Be Handed Down To Former Priest For Indecent Assault At A Cork School In 1980s
74 year old Tadhg O'Dalaigh from Blackrock in Dublin denied the single charge at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
He was convicted of assaulting a young boy while teaching at the Sacred Heart College in Carrignavar between September 1st 1980 and January 28th 1981.
Judge Brian O'Callaghan adjourned sentencing until May 11th to allow for the preparation of a Victim Impact Statement and remanded O'Dalaigh on bail.
