Anger From Nursing Unions at Plan To Cut St. Finbarr's Hospital Jobs
21 front-line staff may be cut at the hospital
Last month the INMO and the HSE met at Workplace Relations Commission and management outlined their plans to cut 16 nurses and 5 health care assistants on financial grounds
The union rejected the proposal as they claimed it would leave the hospital severly shortstaffed and the HSE agreed to reverse the cuts as an interim measure to prevent industral action and allow for further talks on Thursday...
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM the INMO's Liam Conway says the proposed cuts are unsustainable and will lead to staff burnout
