Body of man who entered River Lee last night recovered at Kennedy Quay

A search for a man in his 50's who entered the River Lee near the Anglers Rest has been stood down following the recovery of a body this morning
Valencia Coastguard have confirmed to RedFM News that the body recovered at Kennedy Quay this morning is that of the missing man
The search for the man got underway at around 10 o'clock last night and a full scale search operation involving Mallow Search and Rescue, Crosshaven Coastguard, Cork City Fire Brigade and members of Ballincollig Gardaí swung into action.
The search was called off for the night and this morning the body of a man was recovered by emergency services at Kennedy Quay in the city
