Bord Pleanala Hearing Into Cork - Ringaskiddy Motorway To Conclude Today
An Bord Pleanala's oral hearing into the proposed M28 Cork to Ringaskiddy motorway will come to an end today.
Cork County Council have submitted their plans for the upgrade to the N28
Over 500 objections have been submitted to the state planning agency with many locals calling for an alternative route to the one currently proposed by the council.
The oral hearing has heard concerns from locals on issues ranging from noise and air pollution, to the destruction of local flora and fauna over the past three weeks.
The final issues surrounding Compulsory Purchase Orders will be heard today, before a decision will be made on whether or not to grant the planning permission to the development.
