Break In Water Supply Next Monday And Tuesday Nights In Sunday's Well And The Lee Road
Cork City Council will be carrying out essential upgrade works to the water supply network in the area from 7 o'clock in the evening to 7 the following morning
The water supply will be restored during the day.
There may also be some impact to the water pressure across the South City Centre and the South East of the City in areas along and adjacent to:
Boreenmanna Road,
Blackrock Road,
Douglas Road,
South Douglas Road,
Ballinlough Road,
Barrack St,
Friar St, and
Bandon Road.
Some slight temporary discoloration to the water supply may occur both during the works and when the water is restored.
Those living in affected areas are reminded that it is important to keep taps fully closed to stop any flooding when the water comes back on, and are asked to check the clarity of the water at the kitchen tap before operating washing machines to prevent possible staining of washing and also before using dishwashers and drinks vending machines etc.
