Broad welcome to M20 Cork-Limerick motorway announcement
The Taoiseach announced that the highly anticipated M20 Cork-Limerick motorway would be included in the soon to be announced Capital Plan.
Leo Varadkar made the announcement at a breakfast briefing in the newly revamped Páirc Uí Chaoimh earlier this morning and confirmed that the project has now gone to planning stage and will also be included in the Government's Strategic Infrastructure Plan.
The annoucement has received a broad welcome.
Speaking to RedFM News Ireland South MEP Deirdre Clune says the next step is to get the project before An Bord Pleanála:
