That's according to the head of Visit Cork who was speaking at a roadshow in the city centre this morning to mark the launch of the new Pure Cork brand.
The tourism agency are inviting businesses and tourism providers to submit their ideas and events to promote Cork as a tourist destination under the banner of Pure Cork
Speaking to RedFM News Seamus Heaney says all businesses can benefit from the promotion of tourism in Cork
The next Visit Cork roadshow event is taking place in the Celtic Ross Hotel Rosscarberry this afternoon between 3 and 4:30pm.
