CEO of Matt Talbot Adolescent Services steps down

The Chief Executive of the Cork based Matt Talbot Adolescent Services charity has stepped down.

The Irish Examiner reports that Pat Relihan, who has been on sick leave since March, has resigned with immediate effect.

The HSE began a financial audit of the Cork based charity in February, which is ongoing and no findings have yet been made from it 

The charity treats young people with addiction problems and has been operating in Cork City for the last 20 years, and up until last year ran a centre in Enniskeane in West Cork before its closure in October with the loss of 18 jobs
