Concern for Youghal that main beach may be closed next Summer.

Concern has been expressed about tourism in an East Cork town after it was revealed that its main beach may be closed next Summer. According to a report by the Environmental Protection Agency Youghal strand has "very poor e.coli results" and it's now believed that Cork County Council may have to shut down the popular bathing spot. Business owners however have moved to allay fears and say the town offers more than just a nice beach.
