Construction on anticipated Events Centre could begin in third quarter
The sod was turned on the project two years ago however additional funding has been requested to build the facility.
The Tanáiste spoke to RedFM News this morning at as breakfast briefing in the city centre where he confirmed that while an approval process is being finalised BAM are keen to begin construction as early as September.
However it's hoped a funding agreement between all parties will be agreed soon.
