Cork Airport Say They're Carefully Monitoring Storm Lorenzo's Path

The storm is making its way towards Ireland

A status orange weather alert has been issued for Cork from 6pm tomorrow evening until 3am on Friday morning.

However a status yellow wind and rain warning is in effect for the entire country from 9am tomorrow.

The impact of the storm here in Cork is unknown at this point however Cork City and County Council's are making all necessary preparations.

Here in the city the current flood warning has been extended while in the county the Dursey Cable Car will close from tomorrow until at least Saturday. 

Speaking to RedFM News Kevin Cullinane of Cork Airport says he expects some flight disruption and he has this advise for anyone travelling into and out of Cork Airport in the next 24 hours:
