Cork City Council Announce Package Of Measures They Say Will Support City Centre Businesses
It follows yesterdays meeting between business representatives and the City Council's Chief Executive, Ann Doherty about the new daily traffic restrictions on Patrick Street.
Some traders have opposed the traffic restrictions on the city's main street and have said their businesses have been negatively impacted by the move.
The Council are introducing reduced parking charges from tomorrow.
Customers can use the Black Ashe Park and Ride free of charge six days a week from noon onwards.
Both North Main Street and Paul Street customers will get 4 hours parking for the price of two between noon and 6pm, seven days a week.
