Cork has lost a legend within Cork theatre
It comes as Michael Twomey passed away earlier today
The actor, writer and director was one half of the much loved "Cha & Mia" duo alongside Frank Duggan, whose satire found fame on the long running RTE series "Halls Pictorial Weekly".
Michael has been celebrated for his contribution to professional and amateur theatre, and was well known for his generosity in mentoring and offering support to emerging talent Leeside.
Speaking to RedFM News the Everyman's Julie Kelleher says he was as talented in the role of director as he was onstage.
