Cork Homeless Charity Say Long Term Homeless Should Be Prioritised For Social Housing

A Cork homeless charity says it's vital that the long-term homeless are prioritised for any new social housing coming on stream.

It follows the unveiling of Budget 2018 this week where a number of measures to increase social housing were announced.

 

3,800 social houses are to be built next year as well and another 3,000 new social houses are expected by 2021 with the allocation of an additional €500 million.
