Cork mother to camp outside the Dail as part of campaign for medicinal cannabis

Vera Twomey has taken her campaign for the legalisation of medicinal cannabis for the treatment of her young daughter directly to Leinster House

Vera is to camp outside the Dail overnight tonight as she seeks a meeting with the Health Minister Simon Harris to discuss the return of the medicinal cannabis that she attempted to bring into Ireland from Spain last week.

She also wants to raise her campaign calling for a change in legislation in order to obtain medicinal cannabis for her daughter Ava who suffers from Dravat Syndrome.

Speaking to RedFM News Vera appealed to the Minister to speak to her.
