After yet another count in Cork South Central no candidate has reached the quota.
In what's been dubbed the constituency of death Labour's Ciaran Lynch is the latest casualty and he has now been eliminated.
Counting will resume with the distribution of his votes.
Fine Gael's Simon Coveney is widely expected the third seat while the fourth seat could see a bitter battle between Sinn Fein's Donnchadh O'Laoighre and Fine Gael's Jerry Buttimer.
However speaking to RedFM News Lord Mayor Cllr Chirs O'Leary says the race is still wide open and the Fine Gael candidates could find themselves pitted against each other for the fourth seat:
