Cork University Hospital is the second most overcrowded hospital in the country today
A record number of patients are waiting on trolleys at hospitals across Ireland with 679 people without beds today - the highest figure recorded in 2019.
It's the second highest number since records began.
The INMO says the worst-affected facility is University Hospital Limerick, with 63 patients waiting for beds, while 61 are waiting on trolleys at Cork University Hospital
Tony Fitzpatrick, Director of Industrial Relations at the INMO, says it's unacceptable for both patients and staff:
