First Week of Cork-Boston Flights Will Operate From Dublin Airport
Norwegian Air has confirmed to RedFM News in the past half hour that the April 2nd to April 9th flights will take off and land at Dublin Airport
Management at Cork Airport say the airline are continuing to explore ways to resume their three times weekly service next month.
The Irish Aviation Authority recently suspended the operation of the Boeing 737 MAX after two fatal accidents involving the aircraft in recent months.
The Boeing 737 MAX was one of the aircraft used for the transatlantic route after it launched in 2017.
Passengers due to fly to Providence from Cork Airport from April 2nd to 9th will be bussed to Dublin.
The airline says it has contacted affected customers to outline their options.
Speaking to RedFM News Communications Manager at Cork Airport Kevin Cullinane says they're hopeful that an alternative aircraft can be found that is capable of operating the Cork-Boston route:
