Fundraiser for young Cork man who suffered a traumatic brain injury raises almost €30,000 in one day

28 year old Ryan Murphy from Midleton was out for a walk at the end of October last year when he collapsed

Ryan was found and rushed to Cork University Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain.

Ryan suffered a stroke in hospital and spent three weeks in a coma before contracting Covid.

He survived Covid and is now being treated at the National Rehabilitation Hospital and will need around the clock care when he returns home.
