Garda charged with deception walks free from court in Cork today
A Garda charged with deception has walked free from court today after a judge directed a jury to find him not guilty when the prosecution was unable to call an important witness due to the witness being sick and being unable to attend court.
Paul Mulcair with an address care of Kinsale Garda Station in Co Cork had denied two charges of making a gain for himself by deception when he was arraigned before a jury at Cork Circuit Criminal Court today.
