Gardai appeal for witnesses to fatal stabbing in Co Clare
A young man died in the incident.
It follows the results of a post-mortem examination on a 23-year-old man who died after an altercation at a nightclub in Shannon early yesterday morning.
A 19 year old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
A 22-year-old man who was injured, is still being treated at University Hospital Limerick, however his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
