Gardaí Are Appealing For Witnesses Following A Fatal Crash In The City
The crash left a 16 year old girl dead and another teenager fighting for his life
The incident happened at around 11:45 last night when a car driven by a 16 year old boy struck a wall at Harbour View Road in Knocknaheeny.
The transition year student at Terence MacSwiney Community College was pronounced dead at the scene, while two boys, also believed to be 16 were taken to Cork University Hospital, where one of them is said to be in a critical condition.
The 16 year old driver fled the scene but later attended the Mercy University Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí in Gurranabraher are appealing for anyone who was in the Harbour View Road area between 11pm and 12:30am to contact them on 021 494 62 00
