Gardaí Are Appealing For Witnesses In Relation To An Assault On The Northside Of The City
A man in his 20s was arrested after Gardaí responded to reports of a woman being assaulted on the North Cathedral end of Cathedral Road
The incident happened at around 11pm on Monday night
The woman in her 30s was taken to the Mercy University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the man was arrested and has appeared before the courts in relation to the incident.
Gardaí say a number of people were present when the incident took place and are appealing to those who have not yet come forward or any cars with dash cam footage to contact them at Mayfield Garda station.
