Gardai examining gun found at the Trevor Deely search site
Gardai are attempting to establish if it's connected to his disappearance
The firearm was discovered in Chapelizod in Dublin yesterday after a tip-off that the remains of the 22-year-old could be buried there.
Trevor was last seen in the city centre after his Christmas party almost 17 years ago.
Former Detective Sergeant Alan Bailey worked on the case and says the family have been tireless in their quest to find Trevor.
