Gardai Have Confirmed That They Are Investigating An Alleged Sexual Assault On The Northside Of The City
The incident is said to have happened over the weekend
The attack is alleged to have occured at a house on Gurranabraher Avenue in the early hours of last Sunday morning.
The woman who lives in the house told Gardai that she and her children were all sleeping in the upstairs rooms of the house when a man broke into her bedoom as she slept. She claims she woke to the man in her room and when she screamed for help he fled her house.
Gardai say their investigations into the matter are ongoing.
