Government Looks At Ways To Protect Students In Cork From Rent Hikes
They are currently not protected by the 4 per cent rent cap for cities including Cork, Galway and Dublin.
The Government is looking at ways to protect students in Cork from large rent hikes.
Those living in purpose built accommodation, could be included in new legislation proposed by the Housing Minister.
The Sunday Business Post reports Minister Eoghan Murphy is holding discussions with the Attorney General over the issue.
