Hard Brexit could cost the Irish economy €18bn

There's a warning it could also lead to job losses in some sectors.

An unpublished report prepared for government, on the likely costs to Ireland, will be considered by the cabinet  next week.

The revelation comes after the EU's Chief negotiator's warning that border posts would be needed, if the UK leaves the customs union and single market.
