High cost of motoring in Ireland is being attributed to the fall in car sales across Cork
That's according to the Society of the Irish Motor Industry who say the number of new cars purchased Leeside has dropped by 25%, when compared to the same period last year
Just 931 new vehicles were registered in Cork last month, and the Industry have pointed to rising insurance costs, along with tax and high fuel costs as contributory factors.
Last year proved to be a bumper year for the motor industry, however the cost of a car seems to be out of reach for many in 2017.
