Housing Minister Says Progress Being Made On Social Housing Construction
The Housing Minister's claiming significant progress is being made on the construction of social housing.
New figures show just over 2,500 homes were completed by the end of 2017.
3,650 were under construction and the building of just over 1,900 homes was about to commence.
Minister Eoghan Murphy says he wants 41,000 homes completed by the end of 2021.
Niamh Randall of the Simon Communities welcomed the figures, but says we're still in a crisis situation:
