IBTS appeals for blood ahead of the Festive Season
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is asking people to make an extra special effort to attend clinics in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is asking people to make an extra special effort to attend clinics in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
The service expects up to 14,000 donations will be needed over the festive period.
They are hoping the timing of Christmas day and New Years day falling at the weekend, will help them maintain the blood stocks needed in Irish Hospitals across the country.
