Irish Water Imposes Night Time Restrictions On Three Cork Public Water Supplies

18 water supplies across Cork have been identified as at risk

Irish Water has issued an urgent appeal to Cork customers to continue conserving water during the dry spell

Night time restrictions have been imposed on the Inniscarra, Clonakilty and Kilbrin public water supplies from 11pm to 7am and these will be in place for the foreseeable future

Irish Water says as the weather conditions remain warm and the drought is increasingly reducing water levels in rivers and lakes, production at water treatment plants is struggling to meet increasing demand.

18 water supplies across Cork have been identified as at risk and customers supplied by these schemes are being asked to be mindful of their water consumption
