Jobs Boost For The Tyndall Institute Expected to Be Unveiled Today

A jobs boost at the Cork based Tyndall Institute is expected to be unveiled by the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation when she pays an official visit to the institute later today.

Minister Heather Humpreys will review some of the projects and tour the facilities at Tyndall which is Ireland’s national technology research institute.

The Institute was recently awarded funding for four multi-million euro projects as part of the Government’s new €500m Disruptive Technology Innovation Fund. 

The jobs, mainly in research, are expected to come on stream over the next 18 months.
