Lower Income Households Will Be Hardest Hit From Budget 2019

That's according to a new ESRI report

The report found that those bringing in the least will see a loss to their income of point 8 percent next year.

Researchers say the freeze on personal and employee tax credits and the fact that increases to social welfare payments won't keep up with wage inflation, are to blame.

Barra Roantree from the ESRI says the public finances could also be hit next year.
