McDonalds Drive-thru for Ballincollig
McDonalds has been given the go-ahead to build a drive-thru in Ballincollig. The outlet will create 60 new jobs and will be located at the overflow car park of Aldi. Cork County Council had refused permission but the fast food chain appealed the decision to An Bord Pleanala. It will be the first McDonalds in Ireland to use the Spirit of Family concept. This involves the installment of iPads, interactive TV monitors, self-ordering kiosks and games projected on to tables.
