Minister Backs Striking Lloyds Pharmacy Workers

The Minister for Business and Enterprise has given her support to striking Lloyds Pharmacy workers
Almost 250 workers in Ireland's largest pharmacy chain, will strike for a fifth time tomorrow in a row over pay and conditions and what they claim is the company's refusal to accept a Labour Court recommendation.
In a letter to Mandate, Minister Heather Humphreys has called on the company, "in line with the Court's recommendation", to "proactively and constructively engage in order to find an acceptable resolution to the matters at issue."
This lunchtime, campaign group UPlift is to deliver a petition with more than 15,000 signatures to Cork based McKesson Corporation, the owner of Lloyds Pharmacy, urging the company to engage
