The mobile home of a family in North Cork has been towed away following a court order.
The case came before the circuit court last week but was adjourned until yesterday and resulted in the family of five being ordered to remove the mobile home from Beechfield estate in Fermoy by midnight today.
A judge granted an injunction to Cork's local authority to have the mobile home removed after its presence resulted in tensions in the area.
Local representatives attending the court yesterday welcomed the ruling of the judge following a long protest against the mobile home in the area.
