Motorcyclist killed following crash in Cork
Gardaí have carried out a forensic collision examination at the scene of a fatal crash in Ovens.
A motorcyclist in his 40 was pronounced dead at Ballygroman Upper yesterday after he collided with a van at around 6:15pm.
The road has since reopened and Gardaí are asking witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage who were travelling between Begley's Forge and Crossbarry on the L2218 to contact Bandon Garda station on 023 885 2200.
The man is the 10th person to be killed on Cork roads since the start of the year.
