MRI Scan For Cork Girl To Be Conducted Next Month

Monica White had appealed to the Health Minister to prioritise her daughter's spinal surgery


The mother of a Cork girl who urgently needs an MRI scan has received news that her daughter's scan will be conducted next month.

Monica White's daughter Olivia was born with Rett's Syndrome and has a severley curved spine which causes her to suffer frequent chest problems.

Monica appealed to the Health Minister to prioritise her daughter's spinal surgery and help her to secure an earlier date for an essential 
pre-op MRI Scan which was scheduled for April next year.

It's now emerged that following her appeal on RedFM News a new appointment date of June 22nd for an MRI scan has been offered to Olivia at Crumlin Hospital..
