New York Police detain man in connection with explosion
It's believed the explosion occurred near Times Square.
A number of subway trains had to be evacuated in the central Manhattan area earlier as a precaution.
No one was injured other than the suspect.
The NYPD is still appealing to people to still avoid the area.
Sky's Hannah Thomas Peter is in the city, and says it appears to have happened at the Port Authority bus station - one of New York's main terminals.
