Over 5,500 calls made to Cork Threshold so far this year

The charity received contact from 1,500 new clients last year and prevented homelessness in all but 16 of those cases. 

Renewed calls have been made for the Government to tackle the housing crisis and increase supply in all areas of the housing market. 

Speaking to RedFM News Edel Conlon of Threshold says the numbers of people requiring their service is increasing which highlights how many people Leeside are on the brink of homelessness.
