Parents are being urged to advise their children about the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption
It comes as up to 6500 students across Cork city and county collect their Leaving Cert results tomorrow
Drinkaware are appealing to parents to discuss exam celebrations plans with their children to find out if alcohol will be present and how they plan to get home.
A Behavior and Attitudes survey carried out by Drinkaware found parents who accessed information on alcohol before having the conversation are more likely to have clear and consistent rules on alcohol.
Speaking to RedFM News Liam Twomey of Drinkaware says students should be careful and responsible.
