People of Cork call for housing crisis to be tackled in Budget 2018

Lack of Housing and the homeless epidemic are the top issues amongst Cork people

A recent report from Cork Simon shows that 263 adults are living in emergency accommodation as well as 176 children in Cork and Kerry.

Meanwhile the Irish Examiner reports that Ministers have called for a special 11th hour Cabinet meeting to address some oustanding issues  ahead ofx tomorrow’s budget.

Some of the difficulties are in relation to social welfare, health and housing measures.
