That's according to the Chairman of the Munster Agricultural Society who was speaking ahead of this weekends event at the Showgrounds in Curraheen.
Over 50,000 people are expected to attend the two day show, which traces its roots back over 200 years and has become a vital fixture on the Cork events calendar
Hundreds of visitors, exhibitors and competition judges have flown into Cork Airport, with the city and surrounding area braced for a one million Euro economic boost over the weekend.
Speaking to RedFM News, Chairman of Munster Agricultural Society Gerard Murphy says tourists and expats are fitting their holidays around the show
