Pieta 100 charity cycle gets underway
Last year the cycle raised €100,000 to help fund the charity's free counselling services
The Pieta House 100 charity cycle gets underway this morning from Highfield Rugby Club on the Model Farm Road.
Last year the cycle raised nearly €100,000, which was used to fund Pieta's life-saving counselling services free of charge.
Over 1,500 people took part last year in Cork, Limerick and Galway and this year the cycle has been extended to 6 extra counties.
Organisers hope to get close to 5,000 people involved this year.
