Removal Of Car Which Caused Fire At Douglas Shopping Centre Is A 'Positive Step'

That’s according to Douglas Shopping centre traders rep Terry Coleman

He was reacting to the news the car has been taken from the multi-storey car park for specialist examination.

The vehicle which was removed this week using a remotely-operated towing device has been confirmed as an Opel Zafira.

It’s understood a number of experts will inspect the car in an effort to establish why it burst into flames, almost eight weeks ago.

Speaking to RedFM News this morning Terry Coleman says work is ongoing at the site of the shopping centre despite the fact it may not be visible to the general public.
